Machines you can actually come and look at
Ride ons and zero turns, push mowers, chainsaws, line trimmers and brushcutters, hedge trimmers, blowers, pressure washers and generators. The floor at Pike Street is stocked, so you can sit on the mower before you buy it and get a straight answer about which one suits your block.
An authorised service centre, not just a shopfront
Servicing and repairs on all outdoor power equipment, whether it came from us or not. The workshop sign says Authorised Service Centre because it is one, so warranty work and proper factory parts are handled here in town instead of going on a truck to Geelong.
Bars, chains, files and the safety gear to go with them
Spare parts for all outdoor power equipment, plus the consumables you get through: chains and bars, files, cutting attachments, trimmer line, and the helmets and chaps hanging on the wall. Bring the old part in and we will match it.
We run machines out around the district
New machines get delivered out to the surrounding towns. A Gravely ZT X 42 went out to Terang at the end of August. If you are in Cobden, Timboon, Noorat or Simpson and you would rather not tow a mower home behind the ute, ask us when you buy.
Camperdown Mowers has been trading here since 2011. Luke runs it, and if you have been in more than once you will know Scott and Scott too. One of our Google reviews names all three of them, which is about as Camperdown as it gets.
We are the Stihl Shop for Camperdown, which means the orange sign out the front was earned rather than bought. It also means we are an authorised service centre, so a machine under warranty gets looked at here instead of being carted off to the city and coming back a fortnight later.
The other thing worth saying is that we sell to people who actually have to use the thing. Dairy blokes, contractors, people with a few acres and a long driveway. So the advice you get across the counter is about your block and your job, not about what we would like to shift off the floor this month.
Stihl for the saws, trimmers and blowers. Gravely and Bobcat for the zero turns. Rover and Masport for the ride ons and push mowers. Crommelins for generators, pumps and compaction gear. Kawasaki engines under a good number of the bigger machines.
Stock moves, so give us a ring before you drive in if you are after something particular. If it is not on the floor we can usually get it.

Just off Manifold Street, with the mowers out on the grass so you cannot really miss it. We are closed Saturday and Sunday, so plan the weekend job for a weekday visit.
